Welcome to The WildFoot Cabins. By booking a stay or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Booking and Payments
- Reservations: A booking is only confirmed once a deposit or full payment (as specified at the time of booking) has been received.
- Cancellations: 50% refund if cancelled 7 days prior to arrival; no refund thereafter].
- Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is from NOON and check-out is by 10:30.
2. Guest Responsibilities & Safety
- Wild Nature: The WildFoot Cabins is located in the Mount Kenya foothills. Guests acknowledge that the terrain can be rugged.
- Hikes & Caves: Nature hikes to the waterfalls and caves are undertaken at the guest’s own risk. We recommend appropriate footwear and caution.
- Wildlife: Guests are prohibited from feeding or disturbing any local wildlife.
3. Amenities and Services
- Wi-Fi: Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided. We strive for consistent service, but connectivity may be affected by mountain weather conditions.
- Bedding: We provide extra warm bedding for your comfort. Please treat all linens and cabin property with care.
- On-site Garden: Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden views, but harvesting is reserved for our staff and private chef service to ensure sustainable growth.
4. Private Chef Service
- Fresh Produce: Our chef uses complimentary vegetables from our on-site garden whenever seasonally available.
- Dietary Requirements: Guests must notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions at least 48 hours before the service. We are not liable for reactions to undisclosed allergies.
5. National Park Access
- Mount Kenya National Park: While we are located in the foothills, entry into the National Park requires separate permits and fees as mandated by the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS). These are the responsibility of the guest.
6. Conduct and Damages
- No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabins.
- Damages: Any damage to the cabin, furniture, or equipment beyond normal wear and tear will be charged to the guest’s card on file. Breakages will also be charged.
- Noise: We ask guests to respect the serenity of the mountain and keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM.
7. Limitation of Liability
The WildFoot Cabins shall not be held liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during your stay, including those arising from outdoor activities or weather-related incidents.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
